| The whole thrust of the campaign is about everyone doing something to improve the environment we live in. Already hundreds of people have taken the initiative in a host of different ways. These are some of the ways in which you might help. Individuals ‘Adopt’ a street or particular area and keep it clear on a regular basis. Organise a one-off litter pick in a local grot spot. Free clean up kits, posters and car-stickers are available from the home page of our website or by phoning 01942 612621. Community
groups Get together to blitz a local problem area. We will be happy to advise, help and support. If you are organising a clean up, please tell us about it. Businesses
& traders Make sure trade waste is securely stored. We are happy to advise on this. If you have a no-smoking policy in your premises, PLEASE provide proper facilities out of doors for staff who smoke to dispose of cigarette-related litter. Provide bins outside your premises if litter is a problem. The council is happy to advise on this – contact Rob Bell (details at back of this leaflet). Report
